The name Trikala comes from the Three benefits (Tria Kala) of the area:

Clean atmosphere, non humid climate,vines that make excellent wine and a lot of water sources.

The Korinthian Trikala is the biggest village in the west side of Ziria.

It’s about 1000m above the surface of the sea and it’s one of the oldest mountain holiday destinations. It’s build at the ancient Musaio during the 10th century and it has many, and major landmarks.
